Danau Sentarum National Park is an area of interconnectid seasonal lakes and locatedin the remote area of West Kalimantan.It is 700 Km from The provincial capital Pontianak and far from the Malaysian border of Sarawak. Danau Sentarum isa seasonally Flooded tropical forest which consists of lowland tropical forest in the hills and tlooded peat swamp forest in the low lying areas and it is the major water catchment area for West Kalimantan.
